1) 수의학 분야에서 사용되는 전문 의학용어들의 구성성분을 체계적으로 분석하여 수의학 용어 체계를 이해함으로써 수의학 전공 학습에 필요한 기초지식을 배양한다. 2) 의학용어의 구성, 어원, 접두사, 접미사 등을 비롯하여 골격계, 근육계, 소화기계 등 각 장기별로 의학용어를 학습한다. 3) 수의학 분양에 사용되는 전공 용어들을 체계적으로 이해하게 되어 전공 학습을 보다 쉽게 익히고 스스로 전공 관련 지식을 습득할 수 있는 수의학 전공 전반에 필요한 기초 지식을 배양한다.

1) By systematically analyzing the components of specialized medical terms used in the field of veterinary medicine to understand the system of veterinary terminology, the basic knowledge necessary for learning veterinary major is cultivated. 2) The medical terminology is studied for each organ such as the skeletal system, muscular system, and digestive system, as well as the construction of medical terms, etymology, prefix, and suffix. 3) By systematically understanding the major terms used in veterinary medicine, students can learn majors more easily and cultivate basic knowledge necessary for veterinary majors that can acquire their own knowledge.

For the efficient production of livestock, the basic theory of animal impactology and feed value of feed are studied first, and the theory of specification basic is taught secondly by the maintenance and production functions of livestock.

본 교과목은 통계학에 대한 기본지식을 습득하여 수의학 관련 각종 실험설계방법 및 실행방법 등에 대해 이해하고 이를 응용하기 위한 기초지식을 익히도록 한다. 또한 수의학 관련 각종 실험 및 자료분석에 있어 통계적 추론을 통하여 불확실한 사안에 대한 판단의 근거를 마련하도록 한다.

Humans and Companion Animals is a subject that explores the relationship between companion animals and humans who have lived with humans and thinks about making humans and companion animals live happily. For thousands of years, we give priority to animal welfare for companion animals that have been around for humans and serve humans. This lecture was conducted to understand the companion animals by examining the thoughts of human animal welfare and the behavioral characteristics of companion animals.

It deals with the ethical topics that veterinarians face in their careers. This course covers animal rights and welfare, human-companion animal bond, competition between veterinarians, customer interests, animal research, wildlife, and ethical issues related to the environment. Students will recognize the nature and importance of veterinary ethics.

본 교과목의 수업 목표는 다음과 같다. 사람 또는 동물에서 질병을 일으킬 수 있는 다양한 미생물인 바이러스, 박테리아, 기생충, 진균 등에 대한 이해를 바탕으로, 병원체가 숙주에 침입했을 때 체내에서 일어나는 방어시스탬인 면역반응에 대한 기초적인 지식을 습득하는 것이다. 따라서 본 과목을 이수한 학생은 미생물과 숙주 간의 상호작용을 이해함으로 감염병을 효과적으로 예방하고 치료하는데 필요한 지식을 습득할 것이다.

Immune response is highly sophisticated protective system designed in our body and this lecture is aiming to build better understanding of interaction between host and microbe.
